How To #1

April 13, 2008

I’ve started this new thing called How To, I just randomly chose a “How To” thing and post it on here. For permanent ones, check out the “How To” pages. 😉 This week it’s how to get the most out of your computer experience. How to have fun on the computer.

  • Don’t let yourself get bored. If you start to get bored and you aren’t suposed to be doing anything, get off! Go take a walk. Have a snack. Draw a picture. Write a friend. Don’t be wasting your time on the Computer when you’re bored anyway.
  • Be Safe. Don’t hand out your address or phone number, it makes you bait for stalkers.
  • Don’t swear or be rude, you’ll just get in trouble. You’ll be banned left and right from games and forums, and you won’t have any fun.
  • Don’t be on 24/7, even if you aren’t bored. It’s bad for you, and there are a million other things you could be doing.
  • Do not engage in chat with people you don’t know. Highly unwise.
  • If your computer takes forever to load, do something else. Read a book. Run up and down the stairs.

That’s pretty much it, just remember not to go on bad sites. 🙂 Also if you have an idea for a future “How To”, please drop me a comment. 😉
